Joyful, Colorful, Summer Camp Wedding
Hidden miles behind Twain Harte, Rylee and Isaac celebrated their marriage at the quaint summer camp that has been Rylee’s stomping ground for a number of years. Cabins nestled under pine trees, a winding dirt road leading to the ceremony site, colorful wildflowers and coordinating bridesmaid dresses. It all came together to start this marriage on the sweetest note.
This mid-morning wedding meant I woke at the crack of dawn to drive up. Half way there, the paved road turned to gravel, kicking up dust the whole way. The dusky light barely lit the cabins I saw when I drove into the camp. Some people milling around, waking and preparing for the exciting morning to come.
Finishing touches on reception tables. The bride getting ready in private with sisters and friends. The sun starts its slow journey into the sky, lighting the forest surrounding us. Rays break through the leaves, hinting at the celebration to come.
Girls in colorful dresses. Lots of wildflowers. Joy and laughter fill the air as people begin to arrive.
Family and friends are excited for this day, this wedding! This relationship is one prayed for and surrounded by the love of Jesus. The joy that such a relationship brings is evident!
